Miscellaneous Monday Stuff ~

Christmas is approaching much too quickly, but I should be happy it is only December 9!  The inside decorating is pretty much done.  Cards still need to be written and outside decorating done.  I don't do much outside, but it still takes time.  Now gifts are another issue.  I had planned to make a couple more but I am losing faith that I can pull it off.  Need to check what gifts I have purchased and add a few as needed.  Plus I still need to mail two boxes off to family members.  Geez . . . then what am I doing on this darned machine 😁 ?

We had the most amazing sunset the other night.  I just happened to catch it from the driveway.  I wish I had noticed it earlier and headed to the lakefront for pictures with no obstructions.

Yesterday was Lorain's 29th annual TubaChristmas (it was started 51 years ago) and we enjoyed it as always.  You can read more about it here.

This little one, Bad Miss Molly, popped up as a memory yesterday.  How I miss that little stinker!  This was taken in January 2023 😪

Back to work.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

Am sure he's too old and out of school now, but when I saw 'tuba' I immediately remembered Jake used to play in the band.

I am done except for a gift card I need to wrap. I am glad I started so early.
I hope you are going to do a tour of your home decorated.

Well, as always, you're ahead of me. Getting real nervous about the gift stuff...I don't have that many to shop for but my son and dil really have me stumped. Gorgeous sunset!! Sun hasn't shown its face in these parts for a long, long, time. ~Robin~

Ummmm Lauren, I admit my eye sight ain’t what I wish it was even with bifocals but can you explain what the gentleman standing in front ( conductor I presume?) is wearing?

I've been doing my best to keep the Christmas spirit this year ~ some handmade gifts, but not even close to finished with the gift-shopping! beautiful sunset <3

I remember that sweet little Miss Molly's face. Such a precious picture of her.

I did a little decorating but nothing to write home about. I bought my Christmas cards early but our Canada Post has been on strike since November 15 and my driver's licence is stuck in the post office somewhere. I have a temporary driver's licence issued that I had to renew for another 30 days. Please don't bother sending a Christmas card as it will not reach it's destination for a long time.

Take care and stay well.
Hugs,
Julia
