Peter Rabbit ~

Peter Rabbit is finally done.  He took waaaaay longer than he should have and it was those darn letters.  Even primitive ones . . . and these are very primitive . . . intimidate me.  I am happy though and I think he looks pretty dang sweet.

It has been forever since I've even hooked a medium sized rug.  Everything has been small.  I am starting a geometric hit and miss.  I have hooked several smaller versions of the basic squares, but this one measures about 30" x 48".  Now I need to sort some worms and small widths of wool.

Thursday I head to hooking heaven in Millersburg, OH.  Three and a half days spent with like minded friends.  It is pretty much the same group each time, but this time there are only 10 of us.  It will be good for the mind and soul.

I will take Peter to bind, the hit and miss and Gypsy.  I do hope I can imitate the scrappy look of this rug.

I know I won't accomplish nearly what I want to, but that is the case every time.

Good GREAT news on the mammogram.  Everything is normal.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Totally agree it is always GREAT news when you get a pass with the mammogram. Peter Rabbit looks great ~ see, you need to have all your loops standing up at attention or you aren't happy. Wonder how you will do with the 'scrappy' look of Gypsy.

great news indeed! Peter is the sweetest! Lucky lucky you I still have not been any where since this all started I am very jealous. I have never done a hit or miss rug and I do love them so not sure why. Have a wonderful time.

Glad the mammogram was clear! Peter Rabbit is just the most engaging fellow. He looks a bit put out, but good-naturedly so. What a face!

I love your cute bunny. He has that innocent look about him. Well done on those pesky letters.
I'm so glad that you have a clean bill of health on the protrusions. Now you can enjoy your hooking getaway, and concentrate on the task ahead. You always do such an amazing job. Have fun.

Awww...Peter is so very sweet!!! And SCHNIKIES on that hit and miss geo.... Seems like bread baking and "big" have been common themes lately. I only have one of those topics covered...unless it's BIG headaches one is talking about or guilt about not working on my BIG beast. But I am inching closer and closer back to the hook...I actually started binding my Gillford Runner last night. Yeah, I find that enjoyable. Have a great time at camp!! And HA!! You will NEVER manage to be that "scrappy" with Gypsy....You are WAY too anal. 😂 But it will be amazingly beautiful I do know that! Congrats on a clean bill of health for the girls for another year! ~Robin~
