A Little OCD ~

My amaryllis is gorgeous.  I bought it late so I knew it would not bloom for Christmas, but it is a welcome sight.  (Plus I only paid $1.99 and it has another bud that will bloom at a much later date.)

I sometimes think I am a little obsessive-compulsive.  I didn't have a rug ready to put on the frame, so I thought I'd hook a few hearts and hopefully turn them in to lavender sachets.

They hook up quickly so I just haven't stopped. Ideally I should be in my worm bags/baskets (note plural) using what is already cut, but it is so much easier to grab an uncut piece of wool.  One of these days I need to separate them again and actually use some . . . sigh . . . one of these days.
I've even ordered the lavender, so only time will tell if I will actually make any sachets. Remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions :)

It started snowing just a short time ago and is accumulating quickly.  I know it's only mid-January, but I've had more than enough winter.

I hope the sun is shining in your little corner of the world.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

LUV your hearts. I'd love to know a good deal with the lavender if you have one. My 'good intentions' are to hook a heart and maybe give it to my delightful daughter-in-love for Valentines Day. But again..... those are my 'good intentions' as I've the commission to finish and ship, my Santa and the other rug I designed.

Have a great weekend.

Hi, Lauren,
Snow here too. Your amaryllis is so pretty, does it smell? I see a lot of pretties behind it, a pewter chandelier, your feather edge, crocks...such a beautiful room. Your little hearts are pretty, hooking is probably the easy part...now to assemble them. Are those three watering cans on your front porch steps? Neat!

The flower is beautiful!! What a fresh and encouraging site to see!! To be honest...as much as I love snow...I'm a little sick of it too....I think I'll be happy when spring arrives. I love your little hearts...so sweet!

I'm curious to see your finished Lavender heart sachets.
I hope that your rug will turn up somewhere.

I've grown all kinds of flowers but I never tried an Amaryllis. They are so colorful for this time of year.

I've had enough winter too.

Hugs,
JB

I really like your red flower and I admit, your yard and neighborhood looks very pretty in the snow.
I am freaking out because we have had a heat wave in Jan. I don't know what I am going to do with another hot summer.
I hope you get to have a lot of hooking time.
