Darn ~

And not as in socks!  I typed up the remaining rug labels in a Word document.  I did not save it . . . just walked away from the computer . . . but it always auto-saves, right?  WRONG.  It's gone, nowhere to be found.  Today was trash day so my rug notes were also gone.  I remembered some of the labels I needed, but not all, so I had to go through all my rugs ~ once again ~ to find the label-less rugs.  Then I had to search my blog for the dates hooked.  That is an hour + of my life I will never get back :(

Since I have nothing else to blog about, I will share a snippet of the progress on Antique Floral.  I've barely pulled a loop in several days and was hoping to have the inside background done before sharing.  This is all I have left to hook :)  Then on to the outside border.  I feel like I've been hooking this rug forever.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

No fun to lose things or spend half the day looking for them.

Your hooking is so neat...both styles in this rug. Love the colors.

Sorry you had to do a re-do for your labels. So many life lessons there. LOL

Have a great holiday weekend.

Such a lovely photo on your blog today. So sorry you lost all your labels. I would call that darn, double darn...
It's good that each rug is documented on your blog so at least you have that to work with. I hope this is a better day for you today.
Can you believe it's raining AGAIN today...

Sadly I've lost Word files also. However, I have a list of all the rugs I've hooked by year since 2001. It has been printed out and new ones are added as I'm hooking them. The only time it gets dicey is at the end of the year when the rug is hooked but not bound.

That is so sad, I am guilty of that. I love that rug. It looks like you are almost finished.
I hope you have a lovely day.

Hi Lauren,
I was unable to leave a comment earlier and I think I may know why! When I first visited, the comments were all showing and so I just clicked on Post a Comment, and this little pixel face with a frown came on the screen!! This time, at the bottom of your post, it showed 6 comments, and when I clicked on Post a Comment, it showed everyones comment and the little box to Leave a Comment!! So weird, but it worked!! Not sure why it changed but am happy it is working! I guess I have had people trying to leave comments on my blog, too, and maybe this is what is happening!!! Oh, the mysteries of blogging!!!!
Anyway, so very sorry you lost all of your hard work!!!! I have learned about that the hard way! So frustrating!!
I LOVE your rug and think the colors are just WONDERFUL!!!! You are so very close!!!!
Hang in there and know it will be worth it in the end!
Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend, my friend!!
Heart Hugs~

Grrrrr...hate it when that happens. Every time I see that rug I love the colors even more. Well worth the effort.

Oh ugh! I hate when that sort of thing happens. Technology can be great, but it can also be a pain! Love your rug in progress. It's so so pretty!

Of course , any other time the computer saves everything. The worst is when you are working on a lengthy project on the computer and the electric goes out. Yikes, I hate that - everything lost.
LOVE the rug you are working on.

Yeah, that happens to the “save” function in my brain all the time. Sorry for your aggravation...but eek, I have no labels nor much (any?) memory.... when I started excavating my rugs from WWR, I posted a few....then froze as I could not remember even the designer of the rug, let alone specifics of when it was hooked (or by whom LOL).... GAH! How I miss my brain! ~ET~
