Zeke and Zala, my granddogs. They have been staying with me for a few days while son and girlfriend are in Kentucky.

The pictures make them look much bigger than they are. They weigh 20ish pounds. They are Pomskies, a Pomerian/Husky mix. Zala got the Husky talking gene. I am thankful neither got the Husky run-away gene!

Zala with Ernestine. Thankfully they now get along. When Zala was a puppy, she and Ern did not get along at all. I guess Ernestine has mellowed in her old age.

Both grand dogs are pretty but I'm quite attracted to Zeke. Happy they can coexist with Ernestine.
It is good to have grandmas house to go to.

I think there's a lot of older dogs that don't appreciate being bombarded by puppy energy! Once the puppies are grown out of it, they get along fine.
Sometimes I need a giggle and peek in on the reddit Husky tantrums forum. The conversations/arguments/pleading done by some of the dogs trying to get what they want, and the arguments/sass/protests done to avoid what they don't want, is hilarious.
Can we hear Zala? Huskies crack me up with their vocals.
