Working on my Christmas miracle ~

I have been busy as all get out trying to finish up my holiday preparations.  Decorating is done except for a couple piddly things that may or may not get done 😁, gifts are wrapped and cards are mailed.  I am usually at this point only a couple days before Christmas.

The next few days are busy ones!  Tomorrow I volunteered to demonstrate hooking at a historical society in Bay Village, a western Cleveland suburb, Sunday is the annual TubaChristmas which is cheesy fun and Monday heading a couple hours south to visit with my dear college friend Wink.

I got my greens in crocks today.  I am not much of a floral decorator, but after watching friend Laura arrange my crocks last year, I gave it my best shot.  Not the best, but I am pleased with my results.

And the baby bathtub ~

Please keep my Alabama sister in your prayers.  She has been in the hospital for over a week with some major health issues.

Thanks so much for stopping.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

I doubt that you need inspiration to arrange anything. And they look great. It is not cheap or easy to find fresh greens here. No friends with evergreen trees either.

Love your outdoor greens. Some day I need to do this. Just wish I lived on a farm with evergreens and I would have sprigs ll over the house. Prayers for your sister. Hope she gets better. Janice

My heart goes out to your sister and you. That's not a place most people want to be but the best place to be when you need medical wellness.
You did a fantastic job with the greens girlfriend. You just found a new item to add to your resume,

You have been busy! Your greens look very pretty. I hope the threat of snow won’t mess up your fun plans for Saturday/Sunday. Adding my prayers for your sister

Color me duly impressed on all accounts! I hope you make the most of - and truly enjoy - your Christmas miracle. Your arrangements look great. I could not find any bundles of mixed greens....just regular spruce. I usually get some white pine from the hedgerow, but the snow had already gotten too deep. Had to make do with what I had and what I pilfered. I know I've mentioned before but we could never leave a crock like that outside. It would be cracked and done for halfway through season 1. So sorry to read about your sister. Most definitely, I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
