In October, my nine year old Windows 10 computer will be obsolete, so I needed to bite the bullet and upgrade to a new Windows 11 computer. Since the first two weeks in August are tax free days in Ohio for purchases under $500, I figured better to buy sooner rather than later. I found a great deal at a local independent store. The young owner was so nice and really showed me how to navigate the new system. According to him, differences are minor. Trouble is when I got it home and DSO set it up, it was not as easy as it seemed to be at the store. I am hoping I can actually get a blog post done. Computer guy showed me a really easy way to download photos from my iPhone to my desktop (non Apple product), but of course it is not working for me!!!
So . . . I will see if I can muddle my way thru this. I don't think anything has changed in the way I do my post . . . fingers crossed.
My son and his girlfriend have two Pomskies (can you believe a Pomeranian/Husky mix???). They needed to go to southern Ohio for a celebration of life for girlfriend's uncle. Normally they have a sitter who can watch them, but not this time. Well guess who is dog sitting? They are definitely cuties.
Zeke is the older of the two and looks the most like a Husky. He is about three.
Zala (beautiful in Slovenian) is a year and a half old.
My son has a fenced in yard, so the Zs are not used to going on walks. Since I don't have one, I am walking their little legs off.

Ha ha...I despise change as well. But re computers, even when they phased out various operating systems, I simply either kept what I had and dealt with not having (so-called) support and occasional "incompatibility" issues or paid for the new version and downloaded it on my old pc. Worked fine...until lightning struck. :-( Those pups are adorable...but you know Zeke is my fave given his resemblance to Snowdog.
Blog post looks fantastic. I also hate change and I'll be going thru the same process on or before October 14th myself. Just have to decide which style DELL I want.
Oh how I hate change in the computer world. Just when you are rolling along.

Very sweet pups! I’m another member of the I hate change club. Why does there have to be such a big learning curve with EVERY thing ? Don’t get me started on updates. Anyhoo, your blog post showed up just fine and the dogs pictures gave me a smile.
The "Z's" are just adorable! There are so many designer dogs out there nowadays I would have thought they were just miniature Huskies. Dont get me started on technology. I hate change. At work they force us to get new computers every 2 years and it is always new and I have to figure it out. At least though when I upgraded my personal computer earlier this year, I knew how to navigate. How great that Ohio has that two week deal in August. Wish we did here. Another reason I wish I lived in Ohio. You all have the BEST prim shows and wool and cross stitch stores too. Janice
Change is necessary. Change is Life. It sweeps us out of our comfort zones, oftimes for the better. Sometimes not. But you'll grow, regardless. Gorgeous dogs!
I don't like change either computers and TV changes ..... and Alexa won't acknowlege me ...guess she doesn't like my favorite F word !

change and I are fickle friends...hate it and love it {if it's for the better}...changed fro a PC to a Mac years ago, was a small learning curve but so much better {for me}...adorable fur-pants!!!
