So many lives were lost for freedom. This field of dead soldiers who paid the ultimate price for your freedom is a poignant reminder of why we should never forget.
My local radio station does a segment every afternoon called "salute to Troops". I've often gotten tears in my eyes as he reads the military experiences which lead to the end of their life and the bravery they exhibited to help protect our freedom. God Bless those military and their families.
So humbling when you visit Arlington National Cemetery. I was 19 when I went there and it is something I will never forget. All those soldiers who sacrificed for us to be free....and some take it for granted. Such a shame. Janice
Welcome and thank you for stoppping by. I live just two blocks from beautiful Lake Erie. I am a rug hooker, needle puncher, and antique collector. I bought my first antique in 1983 and have not stopped since. I keep telling my boys that the antiques are their inheritance.
I am mom to two adult sons and grandma to 15 year old Jake.
