What happens when a year and a half old chocolate lab mistakes a little hooked pillow for one of his toys?
Disaster. This was beyond hope, so I have hooked a replacement. Here it is getting the Molly seal of approval before the backing has been sewn on.

Oops is right... Now we know how far apart you hook those wide strips, lol. You're a good sport to hook a replacement. Who is this new Lab?
That was me in those photos. I used to buy wool and then more wool until it overwhelmed me. However, I loved making my own patterns for some reason. So the pattern one is fake news.
Stay safe and busy.
I was lucky that none of my dogs chewed up my hooked items. But one of my Rotties did chew a small hole in the wallboard because she was bored ~ started licking I guess then changed to front teeth chew hole.
Yikes that lab meant business! I can relate with the wool, lord help me and give me the strength to resist!
Cathy
I can relate as Tundra has been just getting into my worms. I had to hide my wool stash now and puppy proof the place. Janice
Oh S*#t! The only time Snowdog messed with my wool was when he was a wee wolf pup.... I came hope and saw Little Crow on the floor trying to put the colors back in the right baggies.... (I keep my strips for a given project sorted by colors in ziploc bags....and Snowpup had gotten into the bags....he didn't do any damage other than "disorganize"...but Little Crow didn't know that). I really had to laugh.... Snowdog has been such a good dog....unlike our first snowdog...who chewed up an entire couch in under 20 minutes. (I kid you not.) ~et~
Love chocolate. Love Labs. Love the heart.
Oops! Indeed! :-) Cute cartoon.....and yes, we can relate! :-)
Yes, I have a 1 year old Golden Retriever. I can relate!
Oh Dear !!! Hope he didn't eat any of those worms !!! Pretty old Valentines , Love those !
Happy Hooking !!!
Yikes No doggie disasters but Lucy, the-smarter-than-me-and-most-everyone-else enjoys silk floss
Hmmm, your lab is into deconstructing art, I guess! Love the new heart, though! Reminds me of the time I checked out the training book, "No Bad Dogs" from our library...returned home from an errand and found it torn to absolute shreds by our naughty pups...had to laugh.
I recognize that guy on the bottom...lol. You are a good friend to replace the ❤️. Looks like something my girl Mattie would have done.
