First of all, happy Flag Day to you. Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating this morning for me to proudly fly my flag. Perhaps later. May God Bless America.
Did you know yesterday was National Sewing Machine Day? I did not, but picked up this little toy machine at a nearby antiques shop and later in the day found out. Oh my, it has seen better days, but for the price ($14.35) I could not pass it up. Must have been Karma :)
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Happy Flag Day to you, Lauren!! Our flag is out, waving in the breeze!!! Long may it wave!!!!
I LOVE your sweet little, well used, machine too!!! She still wears the SINGER sign proudly!! I learned how to sew on my mom's singer, but sadly do not have it!!!
Hope you have a great Sunday!!
Warm Hugs~

I have only owned Singer sewing machines and they have all been passed down to me. They are the black old-fashioned ones, but none quite as old as your toy one. If I sewed more, I would need a new one as I can't even do a zig-zag stitch on them.
I couldn't have passed up the little machine
either. Julia
I have a couple old machines and one is a Singer Featherweight which I paid $500 for. When I was attending doll camps that is the one I took to class since it was 'light weight' and sewed well. Am quite sure I paid more for it than the cost of a new one back then but they were a HOT item for dollmakers at the time.
The back side of your new kid machine looks pretty good so that's the side I'd display.
I love this post and photos! Your header is delightful. Sorry to hear about the weather. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada. :)
Love seeing the flags flying all over town!
Love your latest goodie! There is something about those little machines that is so very sweet!

Happy Flag Day to all! It's always nice to see flags up. Warms the heart and make me proud to be an American! Cute little sewing machine. I'm going to imagine that many beautiful items were made from it and it just got worn out from love.
Well I guess there's a day for 'everything' anymore...yikes.
Love your cute little sewing machine and if you like something I think the condition doesn't matter...I like it.
Blessings
