I have been hooking for twenty years. I have hooked many a pumpkin. This is just a pumpkin with a handle and a spout. Why is it giving me such fits? You'd think I never hooked a pumpkin before. Three different light wools tried for the "whites" of his eyes. Changed the size a couple of times. I think it's taken me two days to hook the darn eyes!!! I am calling them done. The left eye looks a little flat on the one side. Oh, well. Oh, hell. I just want this #*%^ blasted teapot done.
Lookee what I found!!!
#1. . . I am still purging in the attic but actually found this in a cupboard in the dining room. A 4" bunny mold. Too bad I didn't find it a couple weeks ago 😁
#2 . . . St. Nick and his reindeer has been MIA for years. Purchased from the most talented Rhonda Smith in 2020, he disappeared after Christmas. I found him today in the attic in the unmarked shipping box he came in at the opposite end of the Christmas room in the attic. What a pleasant surprise 😂
Typical springtime in Ohio. Windy and cold. Warm and humid. Thunderstorms followed by sun. So much yardwork in my small yard . . . and so unmotivated!!! I did work outside today until the raindrops brought me in. I hate working in wet plants.

Perhaps those lines to the left of the eye is throwing you off a little. Hook the lines on the other side and see if that helps any. But I'd just keep hooking and adjust later. Bet you'll wanna keep him when you're all done.
You've got so much stuff you wouldn't know anything was missing unless you stumbled upon it years from now when it became a new hidden treasure.
I'm not motivated to get outside either but did do one mowing.
Your pumpkin will look great .... it is such a cute idea !
Fun to find wonderful old treasures that have been hiding .
I have weeds growing all of a sudden , but I need a nice day to attack those . No wind , or humidity and I need a Big Boost of energy too !
well after all your work and rework, I find your pumpkin’s eyes very appealing. Keep up the good work. Techno it’s still Spring so your found bunny mold could go on display 😇
P.S. we had a beagle when I was a kid who would on occasion escape the yard and have a night of running and howling. We could call his name til we were hoarse. The only thing that would entice him home was the scent of Oscar Meyer bologna.
You, of all people, should realize by now that perfection exacts a price. ;-) And, most certainly, because it comes as a "challenge" piece, you're making it so. Yay on the new old finds. Since you haven't missed that mold, I think you should send him my way so I can add him to my metal fluffle. It's been a miserable spring here...wet, windy, and cold. Like below freezing cold, cold. No warm and humid teasers. I see forecasts showing temps in the 60's (even mid to upper 60s) but, a day or two later, it's back to promising upper 40's to low 50's only for highs.
Well I think your pumpkin is looking good, but you are your own worst critic. How cool to find treasures in your own attic. I am still missing things I know I had in my own attic that disappeared into our garage now. Someday I will find them. Janice
Happy Sunday! I’m lovin your dear pumpkin teapot. Stinkin awesome .
I think eyes are the hardest to do in hooking and yours look pretty fab to me.
And your found treasures. You hit the jackpot in your own house.❤️
You have hooked a lot of pumpkins, but have they had eyes? I laughed about your finds yours are much better than what I have been finding in my clean out.

Glad you found treasures, didn't even have to leave the house. But since you and Pumpkin are squabbling, maybe a walk? No walks here. Unbelievable rains for days, can't even walk in the yard.
