374 ~

That's how many days for accomplishing my goal of 10k steps a day.  Last time when I was approaching a year, I fell and broke my leg 😢.  This time my excuse is that we spent about 14 hours travelling home from Branson and there was just no way to get my steps in.  Bummer.

I was thankful DSO did all the driving so I could get "stuff" done.  I caught up on several magazines, covered ten magnets with wool (a real pain to do, but these strong magnets are used on my scissor minders and if one of the magnets is not covered, the are nearly impossible to separate!) . . .

and got all the hooking done on Scaredy Cat.  Since returning home I got him bound (he is only 9" x 12.25") and now he just needs a label.  One more thing I can cross off my list.

I really must go do some yard work.  I keep finding excuses not to do it!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

What a bummer about your record! It's a good excuse, but still. $caredy Cat turned out great...the colors you hooked him in this time are so fun! And I LOVE your covered magnets on your keepers. I have $o much to do outside but it is $O cold here I don't even feel liking going out. Down to 31º tonight. $eriou$ly! :-(

Cute magnets and Love Scaredy Cat ! When you are on vacation , you don't need to count steps , you need to enjoy yourself & have Fun ! Now you can count your steps while you garden !!!

Ditto on what Robin and Nancy said. Once upon a time long long ago I would get that many steps in on particular days but not that many straight days. And those days were when I had a furbaby.

Bravo that is a long streak and a good reason to break it.
You did get a lot accomplished that's for sure.

Great work on your steps. Riding in the car sure plays havoc with steps doesn't it? Your rug is so cute. How is your son? I feel like I have missed so much.

Whoo boy, I wrote a comment yesterday but looks like I didn’t click publish.🫢
Scaredy Cat is cute and you hook such pretty pumpkins. About your steps, that’s a very admirable goal you have set for yourself and I think between the zip lining and cavern tour you should award yourself bonus steps!

I love those magnets and if I find those very strong flat ones, I'll made a few. Thanks for showing them! Hope J is doing super.
