Love Birds is hooked, bound AND labeled. Two 2022 class rugs done and one to go (that should take me all of a half hour to fix the eyes!). It is actually a little more drab in person.
This is the smaller of the two sizes that Sally Kalin offers. It is 28" x 21".
In two weeks I will be at hooking class #2 of 2023. I will be hooking another antique adaptation. Teacher is Kris Miller of Spruce Ridge Studios. She is always a fun time and has the best stories.
I finally broke down and took a sample of Miss Molly's urine to the vet. Hopefully the amoxicillin will take care of it, but I am not too optimistic. They did an in house test which does not give an indication of what antibiotic would work best. Next step is to send it to the lab. Last time it was sent to the lab, it was a $138 test. She is definitely my million dollar baby 😖
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Wow this is just Beautiful !!! Love your colors !!!
Hope Miss Millie gets good tests results back ....our million dollar pups are so very special to us !
Your Hook In sounds like lots of fun !!!
Kris is an hour and a half from me and I have yet to visit her. Just to long for me to drive there and back right now with work and such. Love birds turned out nice. Hope the meds work. Janice
Love birds look wonderful and doesn't look bright to me at all, looks comfortably 'drab' to me if that is supposed to be a compliment.
I loved my boy Ben but he was also a million dollar baby; but aren't ALL fur babies in keeping them healthy?
A family cat kept getting UTIs over and over. Finally a new vet ordered a more detailed test (blood or urine I'm not sure) and found a different med was needed to clear it. Never had another! I hope Miss Molly gets comfortable, poor baby has been through so much.
Your love birds rug looks fantastic. Lucky you to be with Kris Miller, a very talented rug designer, and hooker. She has such beautiful rug patterns.
I sure hope your million baby gets better. UTIs are so annoying and painful.
Take care. Hugs,
Julia
Loving your love birds. You are so good at follow-through. Me, not so much and getting worse as time goes by. Lucky you to take a class from Kris. I met her once years and years ago when I help Cathy with a show. I do like her style. Poor Miss Molly - hope the meds work. You know I can empathize with the million dollar baby(ies) thing. (But, hey, I am most impressed with your ability to get a urine sample. Whenever the vet said they needed one, I would just cringe. Snowdog was quite modest about his potty habits and wanted me no where near him when he did his business. ) ~Robin~
