Once again, it feels that way. I have been hooking daily, but feel I have accomplished very little.
I did get Goodnight Pumpkin bound and am close to finishing Scaredy Cat, but that is only 9" x 11 1/2".
An update on The Poser 😁 Not that much has been accomplished since my post a week ago, but now the only thing left to hook is background. I am heading for the $20 Hooker retreat on the 10th of March, so I will hold off on the background until then. Easy, no brainer hooking. This was started back in June in a class with Cathy Stephan, so I will be glad to get this done.
My snowdrops and winter aconite are beginning to bloom. Winter is by no means over in northern Ohio, but these are a welcome sight. Daffodils are also peeking from the ground.
Boy can I relate to this! My wool room is once again out of control. There is wool piled everywhere . . . and not sure I have room on my shelves . . . but as any hooker will tell you, there is never the exact color you need.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

STOP SAYING THAT!! Dang it GT....you have a ton more things going than me and you hook circles around me. I started binding that little star mat I did months and months and months ago and haven't finished it yet. I am doing it how you (and Saundra) bind with the wool strip...and it is taking me forever. Geesh...no wonder you two aren't fond of binding. Whipping goes so much faster. Poser is looking amazing...I love, love, love your background!!! Gee, maybe I was the smart twin after all in not amassing a wool stash and instead just buying the wool project by project LMBO. ~et~
I feel the same way, we are too hard on ourselves and want to do more, but I think you accomplish a lot with your rugs. I have rugs that are from the beginning and I might just finally bind them this year, lol. I have been hoarding wool for years and glad I did, now I am all set but yes, always need a color I don't have. I did store wools that can be dyed for that reason.

Poser rug is wonderful- be still my heart. And I’m a sucker for any Halloween designs at any time of the year. These are great. Winter aconites? How have I never seen these? Starry faces♥️
I'm in the same predicament as you with the wool. Robin does it the right way and I do recall not having a stash at one time. But boy oh boy have I got enough stash to give a dozen people a great one.
What was once on my shelves is now on the floor since the color I wanted was on the bottom of the pile.
20-dollar hooker camp sounds fun lol. We are under a foot of snow, so nothing is poking its head out. you always get lots accomplished you have a very busy life.
Cathy
It really looks like spring in your yard. We still have snow and got several inches more last night with high winds. Goodbye February. Will March be milder?
You are certainly not a slacker, and you are steadily on the move. A $20. hooker camp sound like fun like Cathy said. Now, get working on that Poser.
I love your little cartoon. It says it all. lol...
Hugs, Julia
I love the comic you posted. Isn't that so true!! I love seeing those early spring flowers. I think that would be so nice to go to a twenty dollar hook camp.
I love seeing your hooking. Its just so amazing. I hope you have a wonderful week.
I love how Poser is turning out. I have flowers blooming too - dandelions. Lol
That's me in a nutshell with all of my fabrics, wool and craft supplies. LOL I so love looking at your rug progresses! Have fun at the new retreat too. Janice
Hey It all looks good to me, the wool worm I think you call it to make your special designs.
It is very nice here today in central Missouri
however when March comes in like a lamb it goes out like a Lion.
Ever heard that old wise tale?
Newburyarts...
"Out of control work spaces more often than not lead to better and more colorful creations!"
Neatness only inhibits greatness!!!
Buy clear plastic bags in grocery store and put woollies in there by color...problem solved.
It's MORE IMPORTANT to be pulling loops than straightening shelves. Creativity is lost when using brain cells for overly organized work spaces...especially at our age! 😊
