Gotcha ~

Welcome friends.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Another holiday is history.  The upcoming Christmas season brings out the crazy in me and I will be meeting myself coming and going for a few weeks.  I am a glutton for punishment.  My own worst enemy.  I don't think I will ever learn . . . sigh.

Today is Molly's Gotcha Day.  The day she officially became a member of my family.  I'm not sure who rescued who, but she does bring great joy . . . when she and Ernestine are not fighting.  Here they are in the early days when they got along.

That one loooong grey whisker cracks me up.

"Mom.  Please get me outta here!"

But remember this . . .

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving. I am downsizing my decorating this year. Display only what I really love

It's nice seeing a post about Molly. She a cutie.

I'm keeping my decorating down to a minimum this Christmas unless I get help from my husband to decorate but I'm not holding my breath, lol... I can't get into the Christmas spirit with so much uncertainty. Our city was moved to code orange because of covid-19. We were doing so well but because of a large gathering in the neighboring city, Covid spread around. They have closed borders so it's back to square one. There was one case of Covid-19from a special needs kid in my little great grandson's school so my granddaughter pulled him out for two weeks.

Stay safe and busy.
Hugs, Julia

Sheesh, that rug at the door is bigger than I thought it was when you were working on it. How big is that thang?

Such a shame people buy or adopt and then give them away. Although I must say I did adopt a Rottie (Bella) if you remember?? All was fine for two weeks and then for no reason when I went to pet her she turned, snapped and bit my hand. At that time I had a grandson who spent after school time with me and did NOT what him exposed to such a wacky dog. Not only that but since I have mitral valve prolapse I required medication to prevent infection.

But my boy Ben made up for that bad seed. Ben was a wonderful adoption.

Awwww.....Happy Gotcha Day to Miss Molly and you GT.... Ha! Love that gray whisker too....but I probably would be tempted to yank it out like I do with my gray hair LOL. And, ummmm....yeah....That rug by your door is remarkable...Ain't no way no how I'd be putting that thing on the floor....especially by the door. Yikes. One winter in Nod and it would be done for. Salt and slop are rough on a rug of any kind. Slow down Girl....Christmas isn't going anywhere that I know of....at least not yet. You have to stop being such an overachiever. I am still embracing Halloween (well, that's my story and I am sticking to it). Hope your turkey day was a good one....and your pumpkin rolls appreciated. ;-) Happy Friyay....or whatever flipping day it is. ~Robin~

Yes, we in rescue are also preparing for the holiday season, gearing up to take in a lot more fosters as people dump their older dogs for a "new Christmas puppy." *sigh* Your puggies are adorable.

Molly always looks *so* serious. Or is that her "photo" face? You mentioned a while back about a trainer to get Molly & Ernestine back on speaking terms, did that happen or did it not work out?

So sad about that pup. Ours is spoiled for sure just like your pups are. Janice

Hi Lauren,
Surprise!!! I can finally comment!! Seems like my computer or your blog or BOTH have a mind of their own!!!
Love your sweet Molly and Ernestine and am so sad they aren't getting along!! Hope that will change as they are both so darn cute!!! So happy you "GOT" them both!!! That rug they are standing on is WONDERFUL!!! I wish I could put mine on the floor, but Charlotte would claim them as her own and eventually destroy them, though she would never mean to!! She just thinks ANY RUG is hers and that would be the end!!!
Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and hope you have a wonderful week!!!
Heart Hugs~
