I really behaved myself at the hook in (no fun) and did not buy any wool. Did buy some wool yarn for binding, but that doesn't count :)
This pattern has long been on my hooking bucket list, but seeing it in needle punch it's just as sweet ~ and so tiny.
Fun little Santa by Maria. She just has such a unique style.
Terri Leamer has some great patterns and I couldn't resist buying one. You can find her patterns on etsy here.
Several people were wondering if this pattern was available for purchase. From what I saw on Facebook, it is based on a print found in an etsy shop called MaryMontage. It was suggested that you contact the shop owner seeking permission to enlarge it in to a rug pattern.
There was also a question about a pattern for the hooked houses. Eagles Nest Woolens offers a pattern and it can be found here.
I finally have a finish to share with you in my next post!!! Maybe even two :)
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Oh...those little punch needles are so cute!! I like to punch needle when I'm in a hurry...little gifts are done in a jiffy and there is so many different ways to finish them. I like walking around the craft store, just looking at tin buckets or frames, lots of great ideas. Have a wonderful day!
That is one thing I like about punch needle, smaller and easier to do, that would be fun to do in both.

Hi Lauren,
Glad you did buy a few things at the Hook In! That is definitely part of the fun!!

Have a great week, my friend!

I hooked santa with a tree for a friend for christmas this past year. Love those houses but I am out of room to put things but very sweet

It has been a while since I've done any needle punch and have quite a few cute designs I could do. For sure that would be more accommodating to carry vs. a big rug, loads of wool and frame. But alas I've not been motivated enough to start one. I'll be envious when I see you working on one.
I can't wait to see your new finishes. Thanks for all of that great information. I did hook yesterday. It was nice to finally pick up a hook.
Have a great day and I look forward to seeing your finishes.
Being good is not fun. Love the hooked houses but I cannot imagine making one...that's just me.
Looking to see your finishes.
Peace,
Barb
Doing punch needle does love fun and definitely more portable. But arthritis has made my hands not so nimble any more. I'll be sticking with my #8 cut and up.
Thanks for letting us know where to get those goodies! :-) What a FUN hobby!!!!
Those Santas are darling. Cannot wait to see your finished pieces. Janice
Lauren, Love the little Santa patterns. I was looking for some inspiration for a new rug and spotted the print from MaryMontage and thought it would be good for a hooked rug. Thank you for the information. Looking forward to seeing your finished pieces.
What fun patterns!!!
Don't know how you could resist the wool - I wasn't so lucky last week...the wool bug got me big time lol.
Blessings
Karen
Looks like you have Christmas on your mind! Do love that Maria Santa. But I love everything she designs. Those little houses are too cute, but I hate assembling 3D pieces. I have a hard enough time getting edges done.
