Thank you so much for all your comments on my last post. I just want to clarify that I don't have a new job. I've been working in the same department since last May. Even though employment cuts in to my play and creative time, I am thankful I have a job to go to when so many do not. Last year I was laid off for three months and it was a very scary time. I hope I don't have to go through that again!
Pug hugs :)

I like my job and need my job but I am with you it cuts into play time. Of course if I didn't have a job there would be little play and no money makes Cathy a dull person.

You are so right, jobs do interfere with our playtime but as you said some people are wishing they had a job...
I have a job working at the farm caring for calves and general cleaning and office work, keeping a house in order and looking after the grounds in growing seasons and I would like to retire so I could play with fibers.
I agree that we should be thankful for having a job and that we should count our blessings. JB
Lauren, without the job you probably would be very unhappy. Being productive is so important to all of us. BUT I'm glad I'm retired or is it just tired?
Lauren...I know what you mean...thankful to have a job..very thankful..but I would like more time to play. And, if we didn't have our jobs...we probably couldn't afford to do what we do..well...at least not as much!
Yep, I work too...
I work at home, I have a grooming room set up and I have set days and hours. It Sucks!
Well maybe not so bad, except when you have a project going and you have to set it aside to tend to the appointments. Knowing that your craft room is right next door and you can't go play!
But like you, I am very thankful to have the income...

Lauren, the necessary evil... need the $$$ to play and craft, yet work takes time from all those things....UGH! Happy you have been able to find employment, your right for so many still a strugle. Have a great day! OLM
