Many Thanks ~

. . . for all the kind comments on my blahs.  After reading them and doing a Google search on the side effects of the antibiotic, I'm pretty sure the med was making me feel that way.  I took my last pill yesterday so I'm hoping to perk up and lose this nasty taste in my mouth.  Plus, tonight I can have a glass of wine :)

Nothing I can share on the creative front.  Daisy has been set aside to work on my Rebekah Smith Facebook stitch along that I am participating in.  I can't show that or I'll be kicked out of the group :(  I've also joined a swap so cannot share what I'm making for that.

Spring has arrived in northern Ohio for the day.  It's Ohio, so I know winter is not yet done with us, though it has been the mildest winter we've had in years.  Green stuff is popping up in the gardens.  The snowdrops have been up for a couple weeks . . .

. . . winter aconite (eranthis) will be blooming soon . . .

. . . and the hyacinth are peeking through.

Happy Saturday.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  1. Glad you are feeling better and hopefully the effects of the meds will go away too. Two things I do when on antibiotics, stay away from yeast foods and eat greek yogurt, that helps to balance out the effects.

  8. Hi Lauren, I'm glad that you're feeling better. I eat yogurt with live cultures too after antibiotic and I take some probiotics to put the good bacterias back in my guts.

Your first spring flowers are so pretty. I'm always amazed at the beauty that comes out of the cold dirt in the spring. Enjoy your weekend.
    Hugs,

  11. Since I have been reading your blog, I don't think I have ever seen your flowers up as early either. They are lovely. I do hope you feel lots better soon. I had to stop taking mine, I really had a bad reaction. My goodness.
Wow, so many groups and we can't see. :) Well at least it is fun isn't it? I hope you have a great week Lauren.

  12. This really has been a great winter. But I suppose after last winter we would think almost anything was all right. Lol Hope you are feeling better. The flu (or whatever it is) is swirling around my office but so far - knock on wood - I'm still standing.
