It's not often I have an evening where I totally lack energy or ambition, but tonight is one of them. I have gotten nothing done (other than taking an hour nap that turned in to two ~ a rarity for me) except for finishing the edge on this little mat. It is a design from a Lori Brechlin booklet purchased years ago. I hooked it on the burlap I blogged about here. I am glad to have it done. I never hooked on burlap before, and I found this hard to hook on. I cannot get the metallic threads to show in the picture, but trust me, they are there :)
I can't believe Thanksgiving was a week ago. Where, oh where, is the time going?
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Your little mat is so cute. I saw that burlap at JoAnn's..
ReplyDeleteTry taking some vitamin B to boost your energy level back up.
Poinsettia are so pretty and to have captured it on a rug, how wonderful. It allows you to enjoy it all year long. I wish I could nap, but I just can't shut my head down, planning too many projects!!!!. In the wintertime, I up my vitamin D intake, especially as I am indoor all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love how that came out, beautiful piece.
ReplyDeleteI get days like that and it is rare for me too, but sometimes we just get tired and today I am sick, so not much I can do but ride it out.

ReplyDeleteI hope you get to rest this weekend. I know I am so glad it is Friday.
Love the way you left the background unhooked - gives a great effect with the sparkly burlap!
ReplyDeleteYou always accomplish so much Lauren, I am surprised to hear that you had a day without your boundless energy! Love the poinsettia rug, glad it isn't a real poinsettia to make Ellie sick!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little Christmas project! I started a hooked turkey before Thanksgiving and it's still not finished.....I should put that on my to-do list for the week. I've just been in a hooking slump
