Poinsettia ~

It's not often I have an evening where I totally lack energy or ambition, but tonight is one of them.  I have gotten nothing done (other than taking an hour nap that turned in to two ~ a rarity for me) except for finishing the edge on this little mat.  It is a design from a Lori Brechlin booklet purchased years ago.  I hooked it on the burlap I blogged about here.  I am glad to have it done.  I never hooked on burlap before, and I found this hard to hook on.  I cannot get the metallic threads to show in the picture, but trust me, they are there :)

I can't believe Thanksgiving was a week ago.  Where, oh where, is the time going?

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  6. Your little mat is so cute. I saw that burlap at JoAnn's..

Try taking some vitamin B to boost your energy level back up.

  7. Poinsettia are so pretty and to have captured it on a rug, how wonderful. It allows you to enjoy it all year long. I wish I could nap, but I just can't shut my head down, planning too many projects!!!!. In the wintertime, I up my vitamin D intake, especially as I am indoor all the time.

  8. I love how that came out, beautiful piece.
I get days like that and it is rare for me too, but sometimes we just get tired and today I am sick, so not much I can do but ride it out.

  10. Love the way you left the background unhooked - gives a great effect with the sparkly burlap!
