. . . but who's counting?
Over the last 522 days, I've shown this face many times. I've said it's a face only a mother could love :)
Yesterday, DSO and I took Annie 2 1/2 hours south to just outside of Columbus, Ohio. KaSandra and Travis were anxious to meet Annie, and I think it was love at first sight. She wanted a pug ~ he wanted a dog that could go for a hike. I do believe Annie is the perfect fit. I am so happy for Annie!!! Aren't they just the cutest family? Thank you KaSandra and Travis for adopting my Annie Banannie!!!
And while I'm on the subject, PLEASE . . . if you are considering adding a pet to your family, consider adoption. If you must purchase, DO NOT purchase from a pet store. Chances are the animal came from a puppy mill and they are not nice places.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
As always, even though I am pugless, pug hugs : )

ReplyDeleteAnnie, congratulations! I am so happy and excited for you! What a wonderful furever family, a win win situation for all. I admit I am going to miss that beautiful face of your's. Hugs, Julie.
ReplyDeleteOur area does not have many dogs available. My guy is older now and sick, so we are giving him meds and loving him and as long as he is happy and content, we will keep up the treatments. He is a border collie, so hard to see him sick, he loves to play but now he can't even hear,so you can't even talk to him, which he loves.

There is always another one needing a loving heart.
So glad Annie found her forever home! Also, thanks again for reminding people to adopt pets....there are so many out there who need good homes. My happiest day was when our local Petland went out of business!

ReplyDeleteAMEN.... Poor Annie, she was so patient waiting for just the right home. I hope that she'll be very happy with a nice little family.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad for all of you. I'm sure that they will keep you in touch of how well she is adjusting. Her tongue has even straightened for the photo opp.
One more feather in your hat Lauren for being so kind to pugs.
Hugs,

sooo happy for annie and all! sending prayers for ellies mom..im sure she is lonesome. now with annie gone. love all the show of rugs and really like your pup rug in the previous post. enjoy your day lauren! i woke to -22 below not including the wind chill....
ReplyDeleteOh Lauren I'll bet you're so happy for Annie but also a little sad. I hope she is very happy with her new family and adapts well.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!! Annie has her forever home now. And one more to go.
ReplyDeleteSaundra
Congratulations, Lauren. Please be sure to have updates on Annie in her new home. She is and will always be part of our family as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for plugging adoptions. Through the years, all but three of my dogs have been adoptees and those were back when I entertained ideas of becoming a breeder. So glad I decided not to as I am happier now finding a dog who really needs my loving care. You are a great example of the foster moms who keep our loving dogs until they go to the right forever home.

Congratulations to Annie. You're going to miss that little girl. Thank you for all you do for our poor little "furry kids"....I sure wish they could talk. It would make things so much easeier wouldn't it? You're an angel!!
