Sun Worshipper ~

Sunshine in January is a rare commodity in northern Ohio.  The other day we were blessed with it.  Somehow it doesn't seem as cold when the sun is shining.  Cindy Lou Who followed the sun around the dining room.

I hooked a couple hearts with hand torn strips.  They will be stuffed with wool snippets and a lavender pouch and given away.

Ernestine was our guest today while daddy went to the motorcycle show.

Overall they get along but Ernestine has an issue if food is involved, though it seems to be getting better.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  1. Please be safe this week. Before this week I had only heard the term polar vortex in the movies. It is cold here too, but I've got some pansies and daffodils in bloom.

  4. CLW knows that solar heat is the best and it's free. A smart little girl. I hope that she's feeling much better. I'm counting the days to Spring, 52.
    Your hearts are beautiful.

  9. A little sunshine can make such a difference in our mood. I always sit on the porch and get some sun when I can, even if it is cold.
    Wonderful hearts

  11. I’m with CLW...bring on the sunshine.... Yeah, a rare commodity in Nod in January as well. We had a healthy dumping of snow today...and horrible winds...and now are being plunged into the deep freeze.... Windchills tomorrow/Wednesday are supposed to be near -60. Hello??? That’s too cold to even think LOL. LOVE your torn hearts....you really have mastered doing that torn strip thing.... Me, well, not so much. Stay warm and cozy...Hope your week is off to a great start... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
