Around the Yard ~

A few pictures taken this evening.

My yard is a bit of a jungle.  Perennial geranium, black eyed Susan and globe teasel have taken over.

I'm not sure how many fish I have.  I think I bought a dozen figuring half of them would die, but only a couple did.  They are the $.14 feeder fish from the pet store.  They will grow to be several inches long.  They've probably quadrupled in size already.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  1. Loved your yard and gardens. We no longer have a fish pond so it was great seeing yours.

  3. Thanks for sharing your lovely yard with the cool rooster. I have fish pond envy right now. Your fishes sure looks healthy. I really don't have time for taking care of fishes but they sure look like fun to have around.

I've been cleaning a chaotic section of my back yard behind the hedge and I was bragging about working all afternoon and not getting stung by a hornet when I lifted a piece of debris and I got stung. hahaha...

I'm making a bit of progress but it's slow. This evening I helped my neighbour with pulling weeds on her side of the hedge as she's been having back pains. I even got to pull a few hoops today on my new rug and I'm impressed with myself for finally pulling hoops. I wonder how long that will last in this heat...
    Hugs.

  6. Your garden is lovely! I like the jungle-y type garden.
I've always admired the kinds of flower beds that are just full of all kinds of plants that make it look wild and haphazard. I know now that those kinds of beds are very well planned and take a lot of work.

  15. Your yard is a place I'd find myself drooling over. We've a few things out there that is flourishing, but with Seattle's unusual heat wave, everything else is drying up and shrieveling! I really would like to get a bird bath someday. I like your bike!
