Edyth O'Neill Article ~

If you are an admirer of Edyth O'Neill, there is a wonderful article in the latest issue of Early American Life magazine.  Not about hooking, but about her beautiful home filled with items collected with her late husband Jack and furniture he built.  The pictures are breathtaking, her taste impeccable.  Thank you, Edyth for sharing with us.

Winter started out slowly here in Ohio, but will not be leaving us anytime soon.  It was a bit above freezing today, but still a damp, dreary cold.  The ten day forecast does not have a day above 30*.  Maybe this will be our last hurrah?  Wishful thinking . . . this is Ohio.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  1. So sorry Ole' Man Winter still has you in his grip. My BFF, outside of Boston, is about done in with all the white stuff, with more on the way. It is one wicked winter! Edyth's home is so lovely.
    Stay warm,

  3. Can you believe two more storm are on the way to the Maritimes but I'm in Ottawa so it looks like I'll be spared. It looks like Fredericton will be missed if lucky.

Hang in there, sooner or later February will be gone and Spring is getting closer. I don't know what else to say. I'm sick of winter too. I'm a wimp...I'm a wimp, wimp, wimp...
    Hugs,
    JB

  5. All the snow so far has seemed to go north. Next to nothing for our location in the NC mountains. Cold is on its way along with high winds. To me that is worse than the snow.

  6. There is only ONE place that carries the mag around here and they don't have the new issue yet. I'll keep checking. In the rotten snow. And ice. And cold. Did I ever mention that I hate winter?

  7. I am going to track that down. I have her PDF book that I just bought this week and I have loved reading about her and Jack and her red cape. I have always loved her rugs and I would love to read that article. Such a great lady. Thanks for sharing that.

  14. Used to get EAL but sadly let it lapse, too many subscriptions here. Seems winter was INSIDE my house yesterday and a lot of today but seems the beginning of warmth in here now.
