. . . one proddy tool. I know it's been a while (almost 2 years ???) since I've used it, but shouldn't it be with my hooking stuff? I want to try a proddy edge on a little round mat. I know I can just use my hook, but I paid a small fortune for the darn thing. I'm sure I'll find it when I no longer need it . . . sigh. Don't you just HATE (I know that's a very strong word) when that happens?
Actually, since starting this post, I tried it and it is working very well with the Hartman hook. I don't know that I'd want to do an entire rug this way, but for the edge it is progressing quickly ~ and the mat is only 12" in diameter.
Several people have asked about my rug label shown in the last post. It's really very easy. I will try to find the time this weekend to give a quick "how to".
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren
Never fails, happens to me quite frequently, can never find anything when I want or need to...Your hooking is simply lovely, personal tag is a wonderful idea...Hugs...
ReplyDeleteIt happens to me all the time, Lauren! Did you look in the fridge? The things I lose always turn up in a totally unrelated place ;0)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the rest of your new rug!
Hugs, Linda
I'll bet it is in a basket of wool strips from another project. I lose scissors, hooks, etc. and they are either under woo or have fallen between the sofa cushions. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteOh good because I have never labeled my rugs and I loved your label and now could you do a post about that edge, that is awesome. I have never seen a edge that looks like that. Gosh, now you will really be busy. I do hope you find your proddy tool.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely evening Lauren.
I have a product tool and need to learn how to use it...your piece is looking great...
ReplyDeleteVery cute edging. Thanks for the upcoming tag tutorial. :)
ReplyDeleteYour proddy edge looks fabulous! Looks like a nice rug too... hopefully we'll get to see all of it soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteNever tried one of those proddy tool thingies. I drive myself crazy when I lose something and will look forever till I find it. I like the label on your last rug. It is a good habit to get into - document/date/sign your work. Saves your kids one day wondering when or if Mama made this.
ReplyDeleteI love doing proddy and the tool makes it SO MUCH easier....hope it turns up soon!
ReplyDeleteI love your proddy edge. I hope that you find your tool. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished rug and the label tutorial.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
JB
I am so glad you are going to share your label how to! I never remember until the rug is finished that I didn't try to hook my initials and date. I have an adult special needs daughter and when I loose something and in a tizzie trying to find it, her response is ,ask Jesus to help you out!
ReplyDeleteHappens to me all the time! If I REALLY want it, I'll go buy a new one - and then of course the first one shows back up. ARGH! Wish I was more organized. I did a proddy edge on a pillow once and was shocked at how much wool it took - decided I wouldn't do that too often.
ReplyDeleteIf you're like me, I can never find anything! That is a neat label!
ReplyDeleteooohh I am loving the wool in your current project. I have not tried doing any proddy but it sure looks cute on your rug. Can't wait to see the finished project.. and of course your hook will show up eventually.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what proddy is but I like the word! I may make up my own meaning for it and start using it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you show us the completed piece. The edges you are doing look great
ReplyDeleteHave never done proddy, but would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteYour proddy edges looks wonderful Lauren!
Have great day!
Hope you found your proddy tool. I am always putting things away in a "safe place" only to forget where that is :) We are supposed to have bad storms here tonight,
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Melinda
I love it.
