Sunday Stuff ~ on Monday

It feels like forever since I've done a post.  I started this one yesterday and just never got around to uploading the pics.  I feel like I'm spinning my wheels trying to get things done.  My calendar says September 1 (now September 2 . . . lol), but how did I miss June, July and August???  It's got to be a big mistake.  My life is a blur and I'm not likin' it, not one little bit.  I am frantically trying to get ready for the Holly Hills Primitive show, and in a week it will be over and I can breathe a sigh of relief.  I am new to this so wish me luck ~ and pray for good weather :)

The other evening, I went for not one but two airplane rides.  The first was a quick flight over the city of Lorain and the shores of Lake Erie.  It was only a seven minute flight there, I believe.

It was a very calm evening, so when DSO suggested we go up again and watch the sun set over the lake, I agreed.  Unfortunately when we got near the lake, the clouds were blocking the view, so we headed back to the airport.  All in all, both flights took maybe 30 minutes.

My handsome pilot :)

The pumpkin patch is growing.  I finally got the patchwork backs sewn on all my "Betsy style" pumpkins.  One more thing I can cross off my very long to-do list.

Saturday night my son, grandson and girlfriend were over for a cookout.  DSO borrowed a boat (used to be his but the friend that bought it still has it docked in front of his home).  We loaded up the dogs and headed for a ride up the Black River.  How funny ~ three dogs and and all together they weigh less than 35 pounds :)  Only 2 doggie lifejackets, but Maya the Chihuahua wasn't about to jump overboard.

MUST get busy.  Enjoy your holiday.  Sure is nice having a three day weekend.  Wish it was every week :)
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  2. Hi Lorraine, your stack of pumpkin patch looks terrific, every one of them.
I'm sure that you'll do just fine at the Holly Hills Primitive show. I have every confidence that it will all go wonderful.

How nice that your darling pilot takes you up in the air for seeing the sunset. Very romantic...

Great family fun pictures. A boat ride on the lake is so wonderful. It has been years since I sat in a boat.

    Happy Labor Day.
