I didn't have much time to shop at the Harvest of the Mill show which was probably a very good thing. There were so many wonderful items to choose from. I almost bought an antique sampler, probably Scottish, that I am now kicking myself for not buying. It did find a good home, though, because it is now residing with Bobbie, The Evening Stitcher.
From Bobbie's booth, I purchased this doll. I am not much of a doll person and bought this for a friend, but she looks so good sitting in my youth chair next to the pie safe that she may not be leaving.
Don't you just LOVE those hands?
Dear Bobbie gifted with an orphan shoe to add to my collection. Don't you just love the scalloped top?
Sweet Ann of 1803 Ohio Farm Baskets gave me one of her walnuts garlands. Lucky me :)
Another purchase was this little drying rack.
I couldn't not purchase one of Melinda's (Merry Wind Farm) sewing pockets made with a reproduction sampler. Her work is perfection.
Old rag balls from Sherry (From Sherry's Heart) look great in an old pewter bowl. If you're interested, she still has some left.
And just for fun, I am giving away a button bracelet made by good friend Dolly that she makes and donates 100% of the sales to Ohio Pug Rescue. The winner can choose from a bracelet with a cat or dog theme, or plain. Leave a comment on this post only or send me an email with give-away in the subject line. I will pick a winner on or about Sunday. The only rule is you must contact me so I know it is going to someone who really reads my blog!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren
