From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your sweet comments and emails concerning Ellie's mom. They mean so much to me. Though this still feels like a bad dream, I find comfort in reading them.

It's still cold, damp and dreary in northern Ohio. Not the first day of spring I was hoping for. That darned groundhog sure lied to us this year. I say, "off with his head".
Thank you for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

It will be 3 years this June that I lost my lifelong friend. I still find myself wanting to pick up the phone..... If you need to talk about your loss any time, we're all here for you.

ReplyDeleteGood evening Lauren, Congratulations to Debbie, I'm sure she will enjoy the magazine subscription. Thinking of you, and keeping all in my prayers, give little Ellie a pet for me...Blessings, Julie.
ReplyDeleteHorrible weather we're having..it's affecting the whole country!!!! Awful, awful groundhog...he needs to be fired or banned from any future "predicting"!
ReplyDeleteWe are having groundhog stew up in Maine. Congrats to Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI have rain today on this first day of spring. Though not snow. I hope your yard gets filled with robins soon.
ReplyDeleteI have thought and thought about you. Sending a hug from me to you.
hi lauren..just stopping by to see what you have been up too. i refuse to sit at the computer til evening, and then i tend to dose as im reading..so always trying to catch up. im soo very sorry to hear of your friend and sending lots of thoughts and prayers... life, pretty tough at times... take care my blogging friend.
ReplyDeleteIve had some issues with the groundhog today too. Despite the less than ideal weather I hope you still managed to enjoy your day (wink)
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and poor Ellie. She must sense that her mom is not coming home. I was wondering what will become of her now...
ReplyDeleteAbout that groundhog, maybe you can make groundhog stew and feed it to the dogs. I guess mother nature is as much to blame for the groundhog's confusion. Everything is out of wack with the weather.
Hope you are soon getting signs of spring.
Hugs,
JB
snow for us! I feel so bad for you and ellies loss.
ReplyDeleteCathy
Sent you an email, didn't even notice that when I left a comment;)
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Congratulations to Debbie....And HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY....although I'm sure you're not feeling very celebratory about now. :o( If it makes you feel any better, we were bitterly cold here in Nod this first day of spring....no green in sight, no warmth to be felt....boo hoo..... Happy Birthday Hugs ~ Robin
