Another challenge at the biennial, was "Seeing Red". Each person had to interpret what Seeing Red meant to them in a 9" x 12" hooked mat.
This was my favorite rug. {God Bless America!}
This sunbonnet girl was very sweet.
Many thanks to Kathy and Brenda for identifying the "mystery" rugs in the previous post as patterns by Susan Quicksall of Holly Hill Designs.
Thanks for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

ReplyDeleteInteresting challenge!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how each person interprets the 'seeing red' in a totally different way.
It made me think of the devils in your Halloween postcard.
Duuuuh!!! I guess that was the point of using that particular postcard! haha!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE ALL OF THE VERY SWEET RUGS. WHAT WONDERFUL RUGS YOU GOT TO SEE.

ReplyDeleteVery cool. It's amazing what people are hooking, like the mirror image of the woman putting on her lipstick. So much talent out there!
ReplyDeleteLove those "Seeing Red" rugs!
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren, Julia from the lost paradise of Petals and Wool. I got locked out of my Gmail account and I've been unable to retrieve it and they delited my account because they said that I did something illegal or that I broke the terms of service agreement???
ReplyDeleteso I have to access blogs via Firefox and use Anonymous. I skip from blogs to blogs by clicking on icons from the last blog I visited to stay connected as I have no followers anymore and although I still can receive comments on my blog I can no longer do blog post on it.
Wow, I love that rug, The Price of Freedom. and lots of other one too. It always amaze me on how differently everyone thinks to represent something.
So much talents. Great stuff.
Hugs, Julia
