No mo' Mo ~

My Momo went to her forever home last evening.  She was adopted by Jim and his elderly mom Florence.  Sometimes when my foster is adopted, I am sure the adoption will be a success.  Sometimes I am cautiously optimistic.  In this case I am being the latter.  I say this because Florence asked would Ohio Pug Rescue take the pug back if it didn't work out.  I explained that yes, we have taken pugs back in the past, but to please call us with any questions or concerns.  We want both a happy pug and a happy forever home.  Wish Mo luck.  She is a very special girl and I just want what is best for her.  If it doesn't work out, I will take her back in a heartbeat.  I've posted this pic of Mo before, but it is my favorite one.  I swear, this dog could smile :)

I want to share with you the comment Dolly, Eema's forever mom, left on one of my blog posts.  As I've said before, Dolly is a remarkable person and Eema is so lucky to have her as her mom.

"Special thanks to all of Lauren's wonderful followers & members of Eema's Fan Club for your overwhelming support & generous donations to OPR. I kept checking on the girls' tally esp. as July 1 was approaching & it just kept shooting up! So many pug darlings will be helped. It warms my heart & makes me teary-eyed to think of how many people love Eema . . . To update you on Eema- she is still comfortable but it's a day at a time. Knowing that next year she'll be smiling in the sun in the calendar pic will be a reminder of happy times we shared. Thanks for helping & caring. Dolly"

This is a picture of Eema not long before she was adopted.

Thank you, dear friends, for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  8. Lauren I love your heart warming stories of Emma and Momo...How wonderful for Emma - they both are blessed to have each other.
Also...I pray that Momo can stay where she is now but if she has to leave her forever home she has a perfectly wonderful one to come back to.

  15. Glad I didn't read this first thing this morning or I would've started my day out teary-eyed....I truly hope Mo's new home is a forever one - and one that will keep making her smile her beautiful Mo smile....And I so hope your heart isn't breaking too much. Even with all your "practice," I know letting them go tears you up. You wouldn't be who you are if it didn't. And Sweet Eema and Dolly - what a wonderful pair that is! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

I do hope the forever home works for Mo. I don't see how after getting to know her, a person would want to give her back.
I'm glad Eema is still doing as well as can be expected. She is such a sweetheart!
