A big thank you to everyone who read the last post about my mom. Thank you for all the kind comments and all the prayers. I know she appreciates all the prayers!
I only put a few of my decorations out this year. These are all ceramic eggs made by my mom the '70's and '80's.
A few of the items I did put out.
A small hooked mat I did in '06.
Purchased on eBay. Unsigned, but I do remember that it was hooked by Keith in Canada.
Great decorations Lauren - I have some eggs very similiar made probably in the 70's too by my Uncle! Love your decorations. Your grandson is too cute

Wonderful decorations and those eggs your mom did are fantastic. She is a very talented lady. Love the pictures of Jake too! Can you believe it was so warm around here yesterday. Now it's rainy and blowing like crazy! Hope you enjoy your Easter.
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations Lauren. That sheep with the bunny is gorgeous. So is your grandson!
ReplyDeleteI just read your post about your Mom. I'm glad she is getting the care she needs and has a wonderful nurse. Know that she will be in my prayers. Happy Easter to you and your family!
Lauren,
ReplyDeleteI love the rabbit riding on the sheep....is that vintage? If not, it certainly looks like it!
On the hand-torn rugs, you just clip the edge of your wool about every 1/2 inch and just tear the wool parallel to the selvedge....of course when hooking you skip more holes...it goes fast, but it eats up lots of wool!
Happy Easter
