A WINTER POEM
It's winter in Ohio
And the gentle breezes blow.
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Ohio
When the snow's up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around.
I could never leave Ohio
Cuz I'm frozen to the ground!
Stop on over at Jacque's blog and check out her give~away. She is actually having two give~aways ~ ~ ~ one for hookers and one for quilters.
Thank you so much for stopping by and let's all wish really really hard that spring is on the way!

ReplyDeleteNo. The poem is not an original. (I'm not that clever!) I received it in an email from a friend in southern Ohio...now they have gotten dumped on! I'm sure many other states could be substituted this winter.
ReplyDeleteMoney for wool...yeah, he's a keeper...gong on 15 years!!!
Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.
