A Winter Poem ~ ~ ~ and Jacque's Give~Away

A WINTER POEM
It's winter in Ohio
And the gentle breezes blow.
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Ohio
When the snow's up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around.
I could never leave Ohio
Cuz I'm frozen to the ground!
Stop on over at Jacque's blog and check out her give~away. She is actually having two give~aways ~ ~ ~ one for hookers and one for quilters.
Thank you so much for stopping by and let's all wish really really hard that spring is on the way!
Pug hugs :)

  4. No. The poem is not an original. (I'm not that clever!) I received it in an email from a friend in southern Ohio...now they have gotten dumped on! I'm sure many other states could be substituted this winter.
    Money for wool...yeah, he's a keeper...gong on 15 years!!!
    Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.
