This little chairpad should not have taken two weeks to hook, but it did. Oh, well. At least my majestic eagle is now finished, the hooking part that is. I have never finished a round piece with worms, but that is how Katie Hartner showed us to finish it. Hopefully I can get all the excess linen eased in so my little mat will lie flat.
That's it for today. The sun is shining (shock!) but it is still only 17*. I dyed some wool today. I'm pretty sure two of the three colors are not what I was hoping for. Darn.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

I love the Eagle. It has been a frigid day and tomorrow won't be a whole lot better. The horrific winds snapped off so many limbs but I don't dare go out and pick them up now as the ice is still all around the house. Don't recall a winter like this ever. We've had more snow fall but it usually melted away within a week. This white ice has been here for going on 3 weeks now.
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job hooking this piece. Janice
ReplyDeleteC'est si bon! (But please, please, stop with the 2-week thing, ok????? Geesh.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely chair pad Lauren. I really like it. I am so sorry its so cold. We are having a false spring. I know it will be replaced soon. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteYour chair pad looks great ! I have to check the one I made to see how I finished it , I don't think I used worms though .... What is your next project going to be ? Still frigid cold here too !!!
