Travel Stress ~

There is absolutely nothing glamorous about flying, especially on a budget airline!  Going to Las Vegas was a breeze . . . even arrived 15 minutes early.  Coming home, more like a hurricane πŸ˜–  Bear with me here.

So I get to the airport for my flight home 2 hours early as suggested.  Got checked in (Spirit app has kicked me off and after at least a dozen attempts, I still cannot reset my password).  TSA was a breeze.  I could not believe it.  Only one person in line ahead of me.  I proceed to Terminal 3 as shown on my boarding pass.  It is so far away a tram takes you.  When I arrive there, I get a text saying my gate has been changed to Terminal 1.  Back on the tram and then I swear at least a 1/4 trek to the gate.  Waiting at the gate, I get a call from DSO.  Molly is having seizures.  Thankfully he got her to the vet but of course I am unable to know what is going on.  We depart LV an hour late and I only have one hour and ten minutes until my connecting flight in Atlanta is scheduled to depart.  There were 6 of us on the flight to Cleveland so the flight attendants (thank you!!!) made everyone remain in their seats until we were off.  Get to the gate, and they have not yet started to board.  Apparently one flight attendant did not show up (WTH???) and they were waiting on a replacement.  So while waiting, I get an email that I missed my flight and they had put me on a later one.  Thankfully got that resolved and put back on my original flight.  Arrived back in Cleveland only an hour late.

Miss Molly update ~ yesterday they sedated her and gave her IV fluids and I have no idea what else.  They do not have overnight boarding facilities, so DSO took her back to the pug sitter (a neighbor ~ a SAINT!) until I got home.  Molly is resting comfortably but cannot walk at all.  She gobbled down food but refused to drink any water, so I gave her another small portion of food and added lots of water and she drank it that way.  Shortly we are going to back to the vet to have the IV thingy removed.  Please keep her in your prayers and think positive thoughts.  I don't know how much her little 15# body can take.

I do have some fun stuff to share next post.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

  1. I'm glad you are back home safe and sound except for the drama with Miss Molly, poor little thing.

I've been hearing a lot on the news about the difficulty with air travel and it seems bad everywhere. Everyone seems to get their flights canceled and they miss their connections and more nightmarish stories of being stranded in airports.

Hope everything turns out well for Molly.

    Hugs and prayers for Molly.

  2. Poor Molly. I hope they can figure it out and help her. Crazy that they took you to Atlanta, then home. But glad you're home safe and sound.

  9. I will be praying for Mollie, oh flying, not fun anymore. I am glad you made it home.
I saw the snow in Las Vegas and I just couldn't believe it, you get out of Ohio and it snows in Las Vegas.
That is why we bought a trailer, we would rather go see the kids with our house on wheels. :)
I am glad you made it home safe.
