I have tried very hard to separate the rugs in to their proper category, but may not be totally successful, and not sure if I have posted some of the rugs on a previous post. I am trying!!!
Hooked by a friend of a friend, I have met the hooker the last two years at Sauder. I absolutely LOVE this tapestry 💗
Cleo was one of my absolute favorite rugs in the show!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

I know why Cleo was your favorite, isn't that a PUG??? So many many fantastic rugs even the narrow cut which I'd not choose to hook. One primitive which has been on my to do list is that Indian (being politically correct Native American) which really was an antique rug. I've a picture of the original. Maybe one day.
ReplyDeleteOk....I wasn't going to even try to pick out any favorites as their are just too, too, many...but the ones that left off the post for me were Dayton Brothers (who the heck can hook like that???!!) and Cleo...and of course, I've always loved Cathy's Velvet Quilt. Funny, I guess I never knew the name she named it LOL. That looks like her Southwestern/Navajo rug too?? ~Robin~ (Do you have any memory left on your phone?? Yikes!)
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU FOR POSTING THE RUGS

Categories? We don't need no stinkin' categories. Well, maybe 2 - "Awesome" and "Wow!". The eyes on Cleo are so life-like.
