When I posted this picture, I said that the little boy would forever remind me of Ralphie from A Christmas Story when he had on his snowsuit. Well . . . it was Randy and not Ralphie!!! OOPS.
I am still hooking one animal per day and after that, now that the tree is done, have been working on background. I must say this rug is fun to hook and is very easy hooking. But . . . I think I spend more time deciding what color to hook the animal than I spend on hooking it.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

STOPPPPP!!! You're making me want to hook this!!! You and your perfect hooking does that to me, ya know?? ~et~ (Randy?? Who the heck is Randy??? I was pretty sure Ralphie had both the pink pj's on and bundled in the snowsuit??)
ReplyDeleteYeah I thought you meant Ralphie too! LOL I do love the color choice of your rug, but not sure what all of the animals are. Guess I need to read up on the granny rugs. Janice
ReplyDeleteSorry Lauren, but that boy will always be Ralphie to me! And don't let Cranky Crow kid you there's now way you or I have tempted her to hook this.
ReplyDeleteRalphie, Randy... What's in a name? lol. I wouldn't know who's who when they take their suits off since they have no features and look alike. Your colors and hooking look too perfect for me. My loops are never even like yours no matter how hard I try to keep them level. I know there's a trick to it, I pull the loop and move it to the side as I pull but sometimes I pull too hard and then I forget and just pull straight up. What is your technique, Lauren or is it a big secret?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Julia
I am loving your rug and the colors, very fun challenge.

Rug is adorable. I did not know the brother's name because I was so focused on Ralphie, and I saw the movie so many times!
ReplyDeleteYour rug is coming along wonderfully! I had a paper enlarged yesterday so I can have something to work on besides background of my fish.
ReplyDeletehappy hooking

Randy the younger brother! Yes! We have to watch that every year or it’s not Christmas. Funny- people either love it or hate it.
ReplyDeleteYour colour choices are splendid so your time is well spent!
It looks so nice. I like the colors and I really like that even hooking you do.
ReplyDeleteI really like your progress. I am so glad you updated. Have a wonderful day.
Randy !!! I forgot that was his name too ! Ralphie had to put on that Bunny suit !!! LOL !!!
ReplyDeleteLove your rug and colors !!! Great you are having fun hooking this pattern !!! Did you hear they want to make an updated movie with the same characters , just all grown up ? Sounds like a good idea !
Loving that rug!!
ReplyDeleteThat's right, it was the kid brother. "My brother looked like a TICK." Classic! I love this latest rug and the animals are just precious! Hook one animal a day -- sounds like instructions Noah received, maybe!
ReplyDeleteIt’s turning out far cuter than I could have imagined. Thus shows my lack of imagination.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good!
