Weather on Ohio's north coast has been pretty darn good. Living near Lake Erie has its advantages. In the fall, our temps are a bit higher than inland. The air coming across the water (currently 52*) helps keep us warmer. Yesterday was gorgeous . . . mid 60's and lots of sun. Thankfully I got the grass cut because then the rains came. We have not yet had a frost so a few things are still blooming . . . though some a bit scraggly.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

You have lots of pretty flowers growing !!! Love your Halloween decorations ! It is chilly here in Western ,Mass ..... had to bundle up for my morning walk . Tomorrow will be a rainy day , our gardens look very sad , almost had frost over night was 34 this am ! Halloween should be ok for my Grand Kids to Trick or Treat , they are so excited !
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Halloween !!!
We've got to take all the color we can. It won't be long before the colors are all gone. It's been a lovely warm day here too and I got a bit of yard work done but still not finished. We haven't had any frost here either yet. My annuals are still blooming but they are not perky like in summer. That's one thing I don't like about this time of year. The ragged look in the gardens.
ReplyDeleteYour skeleton isn't a mermaid? Maybe next year? Happy Halloween.
Hugs, Julia
I'm inland from the east coast beaches by an hour and depending on which way the wind blows it is usually warmer inland. And the Chesapeake Bay shields the eastern shore from a lot of cold and heavy snow fall which I encountered when living in Columbia, MD. It was 65 here yesterday too and sunny.
ReplyDeleteToday there has been so much rain I've got a lake in the back woods again and will have to see how much fuller my pond is after this rain.
So beautiful 😍
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Fall colors still blooming! Not here. Been raining the last 24 hours. UGH But at least I heard it will be fairly nice for the kiddos the trick or treat, which is a good thing. Love the pug pic. So dang cute! Janice
ReplyDeleteWowsers....Your blooms now look better than mine did at their peak! Beautiful!!! I am totally bummed about everyone saying what lovely weather they have had/are having and no frost. Seriously? Even in Canada...go figure. We had an unusually pleasant fall and things bloomed much later than normal, so I let them bloom...and then BAM...it turned. Now the ground is likely too hard already to get the rest of the things out. Such is life in Nod...Sigh. I love your little skelly (even though I assume he/she is finless ;-)) And that pug picture is too stinking adorable!! ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteYou have the yard decorated so cute for Halloween! And the FLOWERS! Oh, those petunia-like blooms - I love 'em.
ReplyDeleteWE had our first frost yesterday morning. scraping the windshield for the first time this fall. It is pouring this morning and suppose to all night tonight. Hopefully it will clear for trick or treating Sunday. Your gardens still look good I have a few roses blooming that is it.
