Finally!!! I found/made some time to pull a few loops on my horse rug from my recent Cathy Stephan class. And guess what part of the horse I was working on 😁😁😁
Tomorrow is the last of my vending for the year. There were a few things that did not get done. Oh, well. Oh, hell. I've been stressed enough and decided not to add to it. Now I hope to find more time to hook!!!
Here I am . . . feeling a little blue. A blue pumpkin I hooked several years ago with hand torn strips. It is about 13" x 13".
I am no quilter, but here is my attempt at a patchwork back.
If you'd like a chance to call this pumpkin your own, leave a comment on this post or send me an email with give-away in the subject line. Please, no sharing on any social media. One simple rule. The winner must contact me within three days to claim. (Apologies to my northern friends. Due to shipping costs, this is open to U.S. residents only.) A winner will be chosen next Friday.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren
Gah!!!!! This is SOOOOO good!! You know I adore your pumpkins! And blue to boot!! I sure as heck hope it's not bad luck to be the first comment... ~et~ (Oh, and your a$$ is looking pretty fine too...)
ReplyDeleteI would be honored to have a chance at winning the sweet pumpkin. I enjoy seeing your photos and your sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteThank You,
Jane
Blue is my Favorite color , just Love your pretty pumpkins !!! Will be nice to have time to hook again instead of making things to sell . Enjoy being creative & having fun hooking !!!!
ReplyDeleteWould be honored to own one of your pumpkins----any color! My house walls are painted a blue/grey so it would be perfect. BTW--the horse is looking good.
ReplyDeleteWouldn’t I love a blue pumpkin?!
ReplyDeletePlease don't add my name to the great giveaway, and thanks for sharing photos of all those rugs. I like the loops on that a$$, nice texture. Vend well!
ReplyDeleteI love your pumpkin and I would feel honored to own one. Thank you for the chance. Good luck to everyone. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteI had to take a second look at your horse's rear end. My initial thought, this looks more like a male dog rear end until I realized the tail was only partially done. I guess I wasn't very quick-witted this time. lol.
ReplyDeleteYour blue pumpkin looks mighty nice. I know the price of shipping is getting ridiculous. I sent a small bubble envelope to Africa and it cost me $14.+.
Take care and stay safe and well.
Hugs,
Julia
I sure loved your title of this post! The A is looking good for being an "A". LOL I sure would love to win a Lauren hooked anything. Thanks for doing this. Good luck at your last vend. I created a new snowman today. Have to get the store ready for Christmas Nov. 1st. So much to do and so little time to do it in. Hope you have a mighty fine weekend. Janice
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for a hooked pumpkin, and yours are the best.

I love your pumpkin and the patchwork back makes it folk artsy!! You enjoy your rest and rug hooking, sometimes we just need to unwind and do the things that we love to do to sooth our souls. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteGood heavens seems time has just flown by and am late to an event, lol. Well of course I'd LOVE to be added to the giveaway of your beautiful blue pumpkin. The horse's butt is looking wonderful as is your first real great work at doing an antique adaptation. This will probably be my very favorite of your works.
ReplyDeleteDon’t know why you are down on your backings….they look perfect to me. Hope you are selling lots today!!!
ReplyDeleteYour horse is looking great & I love blue pumpkins! I’m looking forward to being in Cathy’s class in Franklin next week!
ReplyDeleteI’m sure there will be a few Hooking her antique horse pattern!
Good luck to those entering! It's so cute and a Lauren Puggy Ruggy is an heirloom item! I laughed so hard at the end of the horse you're working on, don't know why but it's hilarious. A "big insult" in our house growing up was that someone was "Acting like the south end of a north-bound mule." LOL.
