R.I.P.

This evening, my DSO and I attended a prayer vigil for Maxton "Max" Soviak, a Navy Corpsman from Berlin Heights, Ohio, about 30 minutes west of me.  He was a 2017 graduate of Edison High School.  Twenty two years old.  Killed last week at the Kabul Airport along with twelve other service members.

My heart breaks for his family and for all the families who lost a loved one in the bombing.  Please keep them in your prayers.

  1. Prayers for all of the families of our fallen soldiers. Such a sad tragedy that if things were handled better may not have happened. Janice

  2. This is beyond sad. I'll keep him, his fallen comrades, and their families in my prayers. We really need divine intervention to fix this sick world and all we can do is pray.

  6. It is horrific that those young men and women had to die!! They showed each of their pictures and their age on CBS Sunday morning I just sobbed for the life that is gone and the people they left behind.
