Nurse Ratched ~

Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers for DSO's back surgery.  Doctor says it went exactly as planned.  I must say I was happy they kept him in the hospital overnight.  He is home now and overall doing pretty darn good, me thinks.  Now my stint as Nurse Ratched begins 😁  I am sure the majority of my readers will know exactly to whom I am referring.  I mentioned it to my son and his girlfriend and they hadn't a clue who she was, but then again, the movie came out six years before he was born.  Oh, how time flies.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

  2. OMG, yes I remember her. And I'm truly laughing out loud because before my ex and I divorced he had surgery on his shoulder which required me helping him put on a tee shirt. Try tho I did he still called me the nurse from hell he'd never want to help him. Hmmm, ya think that is the only reason he left? Or was it his cheating ways which caught up to him. I swear it wasn't pay back for his pain, I swear!!!!!

  3. I'm so glad that your DSO is doing well and that the operation went as planned. I think he's in good hands. I can't picture you as Nurse Ratched. It just doesn't fit the character of a sweet pug rescuer. lol...

Can you believe that I never watched all of One flew Over The Coocoo's Nest? I remember watching part of it but can't remember much and I had forgotten. Yes, I had to google it. Maybe it's because I was watching French movies way back then.

    Hugs,

  6. Catching up! Enjoyed the scenery and tombstones, not so much the single rail but... might be fun, NOT the bridges, is that a bubblegum petunia swallowing that bike?
Hope the back is not causing much pain, but if needed, I'm sure you'll be a good gal and let him have toilet paper and food.

  7. My daughter had to read it when she was in college, and she understood the reference after I said it one time. You know I have never seen Deliverance either but every time I mention it people still shiver. I am so glad DSO is doing so good!! It is so hard being the nurse isn't it?
