Another Hump Day ~

I've made a bit of progress on Peter Rabbit.  It is such a small mat you'd think I'd be done already.

I have also been working on my Tattered Tulip challenge and let me tell you, it is challenging!  I'll give an update on my next post.  In the meantime, hop on over to Saundra's blog to see all the fun pieces being created.

Congrats to Samplings from Spring Creek.  I coffee stained the little cross stitch piece and simply turned back the edges and stitched with a running stitch.  The lazy person's finish.  Betty, please send me your snail mail address within 3 days to claim the prize.  (She is a cross stitcher extraordinaire . . . I hesitate sending this to her . . . sigh!)

Seen in my yard yesterday.  Gotta love those snowdrops ⚘

A friend took this picture at the Medina ice festival.  I wonder how long he was there until he melted away . . . lol.

HAHA!

Thanks so much for stopping by/
Pug hugs 😊

  5. Am sure you were in heaven pulling wool loops again, the bunny design is turning out very nicely and I love the background color. Are you planning to purchase one of those Bernie Pug tee shirts?

  6. Peter Rabbit is looking good and will be ready for Easter. Congratulations on finishing your little cross-stitch. Your hands are always so busy.

The pug with the mittens is cute but the Bernie in the ice should go back in the freezer. lol...
I was more perplexed with the direction sign at the top left of the photo. It's quite confusing to me. lol.

    Take care, Hugs,

  9. Very nice finish! Sometimes the simplest little stitch is the sweetest stitch! Loved seeing the snowdrops starting to lift their nodding heads.

  11. Congrats to Betty on a sweet win... Yes, she is a wonderful stitcher, but anyone receiving one of your pieces, simple or not, is blessed indeed. You belittle your talent so. Peter is looking as dapper as ever. My theory on why he is taking so long?? You are avoiding the dang letters LOL. Better you than me. 🤣 Love Bernie on ice. Argh...how I am going to miss those memes when he and his mittens fade in our memories. ~Robin~

  13. I WANT ONE OF THOSE PUG T-SHIRTS!!!! I love the rabbit; what did you use to hook the body: a plaid or checked wool?

  14. It's warm here. Melted the piles of snow and ice, mixed with the orange and blue clay of 12 foot deep sewer lines being installed, 5" of mud on the road, a new softener and water tank being installed by a very nice guy that can't plumb, still trying to stop leaks, it would take more than snowdrops to reign in the snark.

  16. Our snow is melting away, I just hope we have nice weather and not too much rain.
I love the rug and getting tempted to make some while I am stuck at home.
