By the Numbers ~

Color me crazy!  Here is the tree count so far and I am not quite done with trees.  Less is not more at my house . . . sigh.

Unadorned - 3

Lights only - 2

Ornaments only - 1

Feather tree with ornaments - 4

Lights and ornaments - 5

Why do I do this every year, making me crazy in the process?  And to make matters worse, a dresser had to be moved from my bedroom (on the second floor) to the basement to make room for the large antique cupboard that has been sitting in the upstairs landing for longer than I care to admit.  (HUGE THANKS to DSO for coming to the rescue 💘)

Time to get back to the Christmas boxes.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

  4. Four feather trees? Lucky gal!! Fifteen total is a lot of work but so worth it with collections like yours. Next year, start earlier so you have more time to sit back and enjoy!

  6. Oh do post more pics of all those trees! We’re in our tiny apartment and can’t celebrate with our kids this year but we will get a live tree, no more than 2 foot tall...

  7. Being in the Christmas mood is a good thing. 15 trees is carzy but beautiful. lol.
I too want pictures. I'm visual and I need pictures. Please share...
So far, I've got my nativity up. This afternoon I'm getting my winter tires put on rims and installed then I'll start decorating.

I've got to make it look like Christmas even though it's just my husband and me. I can always send pictures to my family electronically while I still can. You never know when that privilege will be taken away from us.

    Stay safe and well.
    Hugs, Julia

  8. 15 trees. Wow, I think that's 12 more than I've ever put up in one year, and 2 of mine were *tiny* - less than 2 feet tall. One year (2018?) I don't think I even up up a tree. I bet it's beautiful when all is up and decorated. Yes, I'm adding to others' hints of photos of yours when all are up and decorated. Maybe it will get me inspired to haul our tree out and put it up.

Sorry can't color you crazy - Crayola doesn't seem to make a crayon with that name.

  12. My mom would have said you are a glutton for punishment...haha. But it will be so beautiful and especially comforting to unpack old friends in these strange times.

  13. LOL at the number of trees. I have a friend that usually puts up ten. I thought she was crazy. I have two, both under two feet. No lights, ornaments only. It's funny...even though I have cross stitched for years, I have exactly three hanging ornaments. And I can't find them. LOL Have a wonderful week and stay safe.
