Acorns ~

Just a quick peek at the acorns I hooked.  I used a twig for the stem but a piece of tightly rolled wool could also be used.  Here they are sitting in the tote I recently bought.  The pumpkin was hooked a number of years ago.

Here's a better view.

I backed them with wool and stuffed them with snippets.

Here's the pattern I drew up in case you'd like to hook a few.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Every time I see your header, I want to stroke that soft pug fur.lol.
A beautiful day here today and I dug up part of my potatoes. I'll do the rest if my back holds up tomorrow.

  6. Nice fall hooked idea. Back in the day I used to make acorn pin keeps but never hooked them before. Actually haven't hooked a pumpkin either and think that would rank above the acorn. Gonna need to draw me a pumpkin!!! Love your wooden double server.

  7. These are stinking ADORABLE GT!!!! But I am always completely gobsmacked by your perfectly perfect hooking. What? Do you measure the space and then mathematically calculate what size cut you should use so you don't have to "squeeze or wedge any loops and ruin your precise and symmetrical rows???????? Gobsmacked in Nod ~ET~
