It's back to reality time. I really like hooker world better. I planned to do a post on Tuesday, but here it already is Friday. Tuesday was a doctor appointment, Wednesday Molly had a vet appointment and yesterday it was a trip back to Millersburg to pick up my jewelry that I left there for the second class. I sold a few things, so all the sales help support my habit(s). It was a 5 hour round trip between the drive time and packing up, so that shot half a day.
Sadly, I once again did not take pictures of the wonderful rugs being hooked. Here are a couple rugs of Caroline's.
An antique adaptation offered by the Wool'n Gardner. That's Caroline on the left and Tanya on the the right. Both wonderful, don'tcha think?
Beautiful Lake Erie 😊 This is the view I get to see on my morning walk. (The lake is rarely this calm.)
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😘
Lauren
That was a cute dog story. Good grief, 5 hours of driving? Sure hope you did well with the second class sales.
ReplyDeleteCertainly understand life taking a bite out of our days, particularly since it flys by so fast anyway.
Enjoyed all the rug photos you posted particularly the sheep ones. That is definitely on my to hook list but won't be drawn that big, that's for sure.
Thanks for the chuckle!
ReplyDeleteIf I had a view like that I would walk every chance I got. Or ride by.
Loved the dog story , that was so funny ! Oh to see water views is just good for the soul. The rugs you showed are beauties ! Hope you get a chance to hook this weekend !
ReplyDeleteDog joke was a riot.....love the whale rug.....can't wait to play with the new interface should be interesting.
ReplyDelete....and the Siberian Husky wouldn't stop talking long enough to allow God to ask him what he believed in LOL. ;-) I love ALL those rugs....but dang, that lion is too stinking adorable in its funkiness. Beautiful view of the grand lake....Our little lake is really moving today with the wind....white caps (rare for us)....and a constant slapping on the shore....think we're in for a good storm. Well, I think my reprieve from the new blogger has ended. Everything looked completely different when I opened up Blogger to read posts today...and each blog I click on goes to a redirect link. Can't wait to try and do a post (not). ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteLoved the dog story... another good post. Hope you have a nice weekend. Sounds like heat is coming back to us.
ReplyDeleteOooh! If this is the Tanya I know and love, then I was her teacher and I helped with that color plan! I was more of a coach than anything because Tanya knows her primitive colors but I am so excited to see the finished product. I feel like I helped "birth that baby!" LOL.
ReplyDeleteI love the pug joke. I love every rug! and good view on your walk. I am doing ok with the new blogger so no complaints yet that is.

You don't have to use the new blogger...you can revert back to the original...that's what I did. Have a great evening!! Love the view of Lake Erie...you live in such a beautiful area!!
ReplyDeleteI do love the old rugs, just something about the simplicity and vintage look.
ReplyDeleteLove the lake view, perfect place for a walk.

Oh goodness, to have that view on my morning walk ~ PERFECT. I absolutely LOVE those rugs....so gorgeous. Take care, doreen
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible view on your walk. Why doesn't it look like that all of the time? Does the wind blow and are there white caps? Your pictures are so nice. I bet you did have a nice time with like minded people.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Saturday.
Glad you were able to get some hooking time in with pals and also some sales! Walking by water that pretty would definitely encourage me to walk more. Have I mentioned that I gained a "Quarantine Fifteen"? lol! Back to the diet.... ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you had fun.
