Binding, a Restart, a Start and a Start ~

Well . . . the hooking is finished and BOO is being bound.  Pattern by American folk artist S. West (paper pattern sold by Buttermilk Basin).  It measures 11 1/2" x 15".  A  birthday gift.

I frogged and restarted a Small Marine Sampler but not enough to bother with a picture.  Another birthday gift in the making.

And yet another birthday gift.  This applique runner is a pattern by Crows on the Ledge.  It is about 13" x 35".

A little hooked mat that will be another door prize at the Crooked River hook in this October.  A total no brainer piece.

I finally started putting the mulch down in the flower beds.  The weather hasn't been too cooperative.  (I mowed the lawn today wearing winter gloves.)  6 bags down . . . 34 to go.  I must be a glutton for punishment.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Be safe and stay healthy.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

Oh yeah...that's right...nothing! ;-) Love that pumpkin applique....and your JOLs.... Finally dropped my Gillford runner at Cathy's so she can get me some wool year to bind it with. Otherwise, nothing on my frame....because there' really nothing to PUT on my frame. And, ok...so I still think those ARE baby dinosaurs....What the heck??????

  7. Wow you have been busy! I do hope we are back to normal by then. Our wonderful fair that is held Columbus weekend just canceled last night. The last time it cancelled was the flu pandemic in 1918' makes me so sad.

  8. Wow Lauren, you sure have been busy. You are ahead of the game. I love the Boo mat.
I'm about half done with the flowerbed cleaning. Some days are warm and others are cold. I'm slow but sure. lol.
All that outdoor exercise is good for us.

  9. You are a thoughtful gift giver and such beautiful work. Love BOO and such a fantastic green wool. Did you dye that green?

You've obviously still got your muscle strength lifting all those heavy mulch bags.

  11. I love "BOO". have a granddaughter who's favorite holiday is Halloween, so just might have to hook that for her birthday in July-----guess I better get busy. I know the feeling about mulch or bark dust if you live in the NW. I've put down 24, got two left over for fill in when needed. I'm not strong enough to lift and carry anymore, so I had to drag them around the yard. Good work out. All your work is first class.

  15. Wonderful rug and wool runner, I am getting to the point where I may do Christmas now, so I can get some things done for myself, which I never make time for. I just need more time and energy, lol.
