Breathing a Sigh of Relief ~

From Our Hands is now but a memory.  I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to vend so often this year.  For any of you who vend or have vended, you know it is a lot of work and stressful, especially when you make all your goods.  Vending is what allows me to buy wool, go to hook ins, retreats and camps, and to buy my antiques.  There is no vending scheduled for many months so now I can create for me.

Here are some pictures from the show.

Melissa's side of the booth.

And mine :)

Kathy Bonnes (a fellow hooker) ~ Good & Early Antiques

Lori Ann Corelis ~ The Spotted Hare

Rebekah L. Smith

Dean Hicks Antiques

Craig Yenke ~ C. Yenke Co.

Dan & Marlene Coble

Hooked rugs of Marilyn Willmore

Sorry ~ not sure of the names of these vendors

Of course, I could not come home empty handed.  My favorite purchases are my two vintage Santas.  The one on the left is marked Made in Japan.  The other is unmarked.

Please remember to honor our military tomorrow.  Thank a veteran.  Freedom isn't free.  God Bless America.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

  1. Some beautiful wares at that show and such a variety. I'm glad that you now can breathe a sigh of relief with the show and sale over. Your display always looks lovely. I'm sure you did well.
Tomorrow is Remembrance Day. I am grateful for our brave soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom. May we never forget the price they paid.

Love the santas you found. Every time I hit the antique consignments, I see lots of old santas, and I think of you.

  4. Yes, I know all too well how much work is involved in making items, setting up and breaking down a show. That's why I don't do it any longer. You have quite a great collection of jewelry made and what good use that vintage welcome mat was. Who'd thunk it?

  7. So Lauren - are the glass pieces on the chains and sprinkled around stitched? There used to be a designer who made these using antique samplers she cut motifs or new samplers made to look out she cut motifs out of. These make wonderful gifts for stitching friends. I would have gone broke at this show. I have coveted one of Lori Ann's creations for years. I do have a small mouse on a tomato that a DF gifted me. I am always a day (or a few minutes) late and a dollar short on her weekly blog sales. take care Mel
