Thanks for the beautiful rug show. My favorite ones are the first one and the lion. So many lovely pillows. Some interesting elements in some of the rugs, like the felted bunny and the appliqued bird. I don't think I ever saw an applique on a hooked rug. I'm still burning the candle at both ends and haven't picked a hook in ages. I think it's because I'm not fond of hooking on monk cloth.
Wowsers.... It’s stuff like this that make me feel so inadequate when it comes to hooking. (That and visits to my neighbor LOL...). That second one....holy hooking. I can’t even begin to imagine. I have (a really ugly) rug that was probably the first “large-ish” rug I hooked and before I knew there was a Cathy down the road was done with recycled wool (which can be nasty stuff to hook with) and a lot of it was done in a 6 cut. Every now and again I pull it out to convince myself that, yup, I once did that LOL. ~Robin~

ReplyDeleteNice rugs. I recognize the top one as the rug that I started with Tricia a couple of weeks ago. The pattern is by my dear friend, Diane Gill.
