~ Must come to an end.
The "Amish" hook in has been going strong for 11 years. A top notch hook in that always filled in a matter of days. Melissa and I had the privilege of vending there the last two years. Thirteen women put on this stellar event. They made the difficult decision that this was their last. It will certainly be missed.
Our booth ~
A sampling of the rugs in the show. Some I may have posted from previous hook ins.
I purchased this pattern from Heavens to Betsy that I will take to rug camp in a couple weeks, not that I didn't have many to choose from here at home. Choosing a pattern is the hardest part about rug camp for me.

Awww....sorry to read of this sad news.... Melissa’s and your booth look like it offered bunches of great stuff!! Probably a good thing I wasn’t in the neighborhood. ;-) Those rugs are just amazing....I especially love that incredible barnyard scene....wow.... must be a smaller cut? Next in line for faves is the Americana urn....the bunny....that last floral... Geesh.... and that was only my first pass through the photos LOL. ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteSorry it is ending for them but perhaps someone else will take the reigns and continue????? Hope you did well with sales in your booth. Thanks for that wonderful rug show.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your adventure at the sale Lauren. I'm sad that this will be the last show. There is always a lot going behind the scene that we are not aware of to get a show on. There's always a cost and commitment.
ReplyDeleteyour booth always looks so well stocked. I hope you did well with your sales and that you had loads of fun. That's more important than money.
Some beautiful rugs... Of course, I have to tell you my favorites rugs. I love that barnyard scene and that last floral very much.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Julia

Superb rug show. Lots of old looking rugs; just love that!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your jewelry! That show would have seriously damaged my wallet.
A shame about the hook in. Your booth looks inviting, as usual. I have too many favorite rugs to even comment. I do love the one you have chosen for rug camp. The border is a charming and unexpected change on the Prim basket type pattern.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad about the hook in....I've never been able to go but it looks like a nice one. The rugs are gorgeous and your booth looks great! See you soon!
ReplyDeleteGreat rugs! Your booth looks wonderful...so full of your great goodies!
