Tuesday Twaddle ~

twad·dle
[ˈtwädl]
NOUN
  1. trivial or foolish speech or writing; nonsense:
"he dismissed the novel as self-indulgent twaddle"
    synonyms: rubbish · gibberish · claptrap · balderdash · blarney · hogwash

You know how you just think some words are cool?  I love this word.  I learned it from Kim over at My Field of Dreams.  I think today's post is just a bunch of twaddle :)

I've mentioned in the past that I am quite the procrastinator.  I leave for rug camp bright and early Friday morning.  Since I'm flying, I must carefully plan what I take.  Normally I pack everything but the kitchen sink, but because of flying, I can't do that.  Though I have not yet started packing, I do have a list made. :)    I finally have gotten my goods ready that I hope to sell in the camp store.  And so what am I doing instead of packing?  Sitting at the dang computer.

Have you noticed the days getting longer?  Just a couple minutes a day, but it's 61 days until we "spring ahead" (but 61 days x 2 minutes a day is over 2 hours) and only 69 days until spring.

Progress has been made on my little rug.  I will take this along with me to camp to work on until it's my time with the teacher, Kris Miller.

That's it folks.  I'll try to squeeze in one more post before leaving and blogging while I am gone is iffy.  Me and that darn iPad :(

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug Hugs :)

  4. I hope you have so much fun at the rug camp and that the weather is nice. I'd be a nervous wreck so I'd be packed a week ahead. lol. but I'm still a procrastinator for something like putting my nativity away. I got everything else packed away except the porcelain nativity.

    Enjoy yourself.

  6. That word just says it all don't you think? I laughed when I saw the title. I think I would be having a hard time trying to decide what to take too. I like your rug. I think it would be so much fun to take a class with Kris Miller. She is such a nice lady.
So close to spring. :) I noticed that it stayed light just a bit tonight. Have a lovely evening Lauren.

  8. That is the ideal project to work on while waiting for the teacher....just background. So now you only need to take a bag of primitive black wool for that.

I've never flown to a camp before and would hate to be restricted to what I take. But thankfully I inherited a Pittsburgh Frame which totally collapses and would take that as a frame of choice then. Can't wait to see photos from camp. Please tell Kris I said "HI".

  13. Twaddle is a good word. I like British expressions a lot. Such fun! Hope you have a great time at rug camp. I know what you mean about flying -- it's hard to condense what you bring. Have fun!
