My Bags Aren't Packed . . .

. . . I'm not ready to go, but I will be tomorrow morning.  I don't know how anyone can fly to a retreat.  This is what I've amassed to far and that doesn't include clothes or toiletries.  I know I overpack.  I always do.

I hope to get my Polly whale rug hooked.  I've also packed linen and wool to work on pumpkins with hand torn strips.  Oh, I've also packed this Star Rug Company pattern (that I've had for several years) and some of the wool.  I will just be happy if I get the whale done.  I never accomplish as much as I hope.

I will leave you with a selfie Jake took the other night.  What a sweetie.  He's getting so big.

Good times with good friends.  Life is good :)

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

  9. I also over pack and could never fly to a retreat as it would be costly as extra carry on or costly to ship back and forth before and after camp.

    Enjoy!

  12. I hope you have a great time at the retreat Lauren. I have flown to hooking events - it is hard and now days with all the weight restrictions , luggage etc - it would be harder. Hope you finish your Polly whale - a friend was showing hers at rug guild the other day and it is awesome! enjoy Mel

  14. I hope you have a lot of fun at the retreat and that you get some hooking done. On our trip out of town, for two days, we filled the car. Taking hooking things requires lots of stuff.
Have fun, I hope you have beautiful weather.

  17. Overpacking is 99% of the time way better than underpacking. I do the same thing. Just don't forget to pack the furball too!
