Once again, I've inadvertently deleted my rug photo from the end of my post, so here it is at the beginning. I've heard from a few other bloggers and I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who sometimes has this problem :)
As promised, this is the progress I've made on my rug. I am beginning to think there may be a light at the end of the tunnel that is not a freight train. I mean, come on, I've only been working on this since March. How pathetic is that?
Last night was hookin' down on the farm, That'll Do Farm. Andrea so graciously had a needle felt project for us. Here she is hard at work. I think she was taking her aggressions out on that poor little pumpkin!

Okay, so I got lazy and did not make a pumpkin, but Andrea, being the gracious hostess that she is, gave me one to take home. Isn't it just as cute as can be?

...and the rug. It's kind of hard to tell, but it's her fantasy bird. Heidi loves the bright colors and puts them together so well.
Pug hugs :)

ReplyDeleteLauren, loving that horse rug, can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteLauren,
ReplyDeleteWould you believe that as a former rider, I am just finishing up my first horse rug? Yours is wonderful and much bigger than mine. Isn't it a Barb Carroll design?

Oh your rug is wonderful it looks like a nice old rug. I love the pumpkin and have needle felted a little. I sometimes think that I spread myself to thin on crafts. But you seem to get it all done. I too am having a hard time with blogger lately. have a great weekend

Love that horse rug, Lauren! You should be finished hooking it by Sunday! I can feel it! LOL! ;-) Heidi's rug is looking great too, and I'm not one for bright colors either. She does that so well!
ReplyDeleteYour rug is looking great, I don't even want to imagine how long it would take me to do one. I can't wait to see it when you get it finished.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Lauren, almost finished with the horse rug. Looking good. I love the little pumpkin. Needle felting is something I haven't tried yet. Not enough time in my days!
ReplyDeleteLauren - What a fun group of gals you meet with - and I love the projects that they're all working on! Your horse rug should be done soon - I'll have to try my hand at that needle felting! My arm/shoulder is finally feeling a little better so I'm hoping that I can get back to hooking soon - I sure do miss it! Thanks for all the pictures!

ReplyDeleteI found your blog quite by accident, but I'm sure glad I did. I can't lie, I'd stop by just to see that cute little face at the top of the page, but the rugs. I started hooking about a year ago and have completed quite a few small projects. I am overwhelmed by your gorgeous rugs.
